Tell us your device model, operating system, app version and the steps that led to the problem. A screenshot or exact error message can help. Send only files you are comfortable sharing, and get permission before including someone else’s video or personal information.

Common questions

What is the difference between a project and a shared ZIP?

A .danceeye file saves practice information, including markers, beats, notes, settings and a thumbnail. It references the original video rather than containing the whole video. A shared ZIP includes both the project and its video, so it is better for moving a complete session to another device.

My project says the video is missing. What should I do?

Use the app’s option to locate the video and select the original file again, then save the project. A moved or renamed file, changed permissions, or an unavailable cloud file can prevent reopening. Keep the original video, or export a shared ZIP before transferring the work.

Where is my Library saved?

The Library uses the folder you select. On mobile, grant access through the system folder picker. If you choose a cloud-backed folder, its storage provider controls syncing and availability.

Why does the video stay black or fail to play?

Check that it is fully downloaded and plays in your device’s normal video player. Video-format support depends on your device. If it still fails, email support with the video format, device model and app version. You do not need to send the video unless we agree it is needed.

What happens when I share a project?

The app prepares a ZIP containing the video and project information. On mobile, choose a destination from the system share menu. The ZIP can include notes, thumbnails, annotations and source file information, so check its contents and the recipient before sending.

How does beat marking work?

Start beat recording and tap the beat-marking button in time with the music. Recording starts at normal playback speed so you can hear the timing. Use the cancel button to stop recording.

Can I buy or download the app here yet?

Public sales are being prepared. Android and Apple store links will appear once available, and Windows purchasing is planned for this website. No purchase is currently available on this preview.
